Kaboom Blocks: free block puzzle with bombs

Kaboom Blocks is a block puzzle you play in your browser, on phone or desktop, with nothing to download. Drag pieces onto the 8×8 board and complete rows or columns to clear them.

How to play

• You get three pieces at a time. Place them all and three new ones arrive.
• A full row or column clears and scores points. Clearing several at once scores much more.
• Clear on consecutive moves for a combo: points multiply up to ×5.
• The game ends when none of your pieces fits on the board.

Bombs

• Some pieces carry a bomb with a number: the moves it has left.
• Clear its row or column in time and it blows up in your favour: it clears the cells around it, can set off other bombs and gives bonus points.
• If the number hits 0… KABOOM! Game over.

Tips

• Keep space for the long 4- and 5-cell pieces.
• Drop bombs on rows that are almost full.
• Stuck on a crowded board? You can keep playing once with a “rescue Kaboom”.
