Trivia Party: free trivia board game to play with friends on one device

Trivia Party is a free trivia quiz game in the style of the classic pie-piece board game, made for groups sharing a single phone, tablet or computer: pass the device around and everyone answers their own question. No download, no sign-up, in English and five other languages.

How to play

  • Set up the game: 2 to 6 players or teams, each with a name and a colour. Playing alone? Add computer opponents (easy, normal or expert).
  • Roll the die and pick one of the highlighted squares. Its colour sets the category of your question.
  • Answer by tapping one of the four options. Get it right and you roll again; get it wrong and it’s the next player’s turn.
  • On prize squares (the big ones with a star) you win that category’s piece. Once you have all six, head to the centre and answer the final question to win.
  • Squares with a die let you roll again with no question.

Six categories and over 700 questions

Geography, History, Science & Nature, Art & Literature, Sports & Leisure and Entertainment (films, music, TV and video games). Every question has a difficulty level and you can choose an easy, normal or hard game. Questions don’t repeat until a category runs out.

Classic mode and lifelines

  • Classic mode: someone reads the question aloud, the answer is revealed and the group marks whether it was right, just like with the good old cards.
  • 50/50 removes two wrong answers and Skip swaps the question. Each player gets one of each free per game.
  • Short on time? Choose to win with 4 or 3 pieces.

Time Attack

For solo play: answer as many questions as you can before time runs out. Every right answer adds points and seconds; every miss costs time. Build streaks to multiply your points and beat your record.
