Color Clash: free Uno-style card game online, against the computer or with friends
Color Clash is a free online card game in the style of Uno: the first to get rid of all their cards wins. Play in your browser on mobile or desktop, with no download, against 1, 2 or 3 computer opponents or with 2-4 people passing the same phone around.
How to play
- Everyone starts with 7 cards. On your turn, play a card of the same colour or the same number or symbol as the top of the discard pile, or a wild card.
- If you can’t (or don’t want to) play, draw a card. If it fits, you can play it straight away or keep it.
- When you’re down to one card, press “Clash!”. If you forget and someone catches you before the next play, you draw 2. You can catch the others too!
- Each colour has its own shape (red triangle, yellow circle, green square, blue diamond), so you can tell them apart without relying on colour.
Action cards
- Skip: the next player loses their turn.
- Reverse: play changes direction (with two players it works as a Skip).
- Draw two: the next player draws 2 and loses their turn.
- Wild: can be played on anything and you choose the colour.
- Wild draw four: you choose the colour and the next player draws 4 and loses their turn.
- Wave, Color Clash’s own card: everybody else draws one card.
Points and games
Whoever runs out of cards wins the round and scores the cards left in the other hands: numbers are worth their value, action cards 20 and wild cards 50. Play a single round or a game to 500 points.
Opponents and house rules
Choose from six characters at three levels: on Easy they play wildly and forget to shout; on Hard they save their wild cards, count colours and go after the leader. In settings you can turn on house rules: stacking Draw two and Draw four, draw until you can play, playing the drawn card or not, and removing the Wave cards.
